Skeleton Woman

This is a watercolor painting that I painted a while ago. It is a combination of a cow skull and a woman in a red blanket. She is a Native American that represents all women. I believe"Skeleton Woman" is a powerful image of the strength and resourcefulness of women. The size of this original watercolor is 23"x33" unframed, it is mounted on foamcore for stability.

Very stiking symbolism! Find the back/bone like translucent porcelain. Very appealing even the more so with the fine seams in the skull like cracks.
