Landscape abstract canyon floor 4"x5"

The floor of Canyon de Chelly again. The last time I was there it was the month of July and it was very hot. We drove around the rim and as we stopped at one of the lookouts we heard someone drumming and the whole canyon was filled with the heartbeat of the earth. It was a wonder filled experience. There is music in the canyon. The bells of sheep, the call of the hawk, the soft sound of the wind and now the drum.

The size of this painting is 4"x5" unframed it is painted on primed canvas. All of these little canyon paintings are studies for larger ones. They work very well to work out the composition. If you would like to purchase this painting email me at phyljan@aol.com

I keep an eye on your work all the time, but have been having problems signing in, which is why I haven;t commented until now. Great stuff. I trust it brings you as much joy creating it as it does me viewing it.

I also had trouble signing in, probably while switching from blog to google. This painting is marvelous in design & so fresh (not muddied) in color.
